Kristy Gazes won the Full Tilt Poker Championship at Wynn Las Vegas in dramatic fashion by defeating five-time World Series of Poker bracelet winner Ted Forrest after nearly four hours of live tournament play on FOX Sports Net.
Gazes, a representative of Full Tilt Poker, collected $250,000 of a $500,000 prize pool for her victory in the nationally-televised tournament. The Full Tilt Poker Championship at Wynn Las Vegas was the first-ever tournament broadcast live from Las Vegas, and featured an invitation-only field of 23 of the world's best poker players, including Chris Ferguson, Clonie Gowen, Erik Seidel, Daniel Negreanu, Annie Duke, and Johnny Chan. Collectively, the 23-person roster of players own a total of 59 World Series of Poker bracelets, including four from the WSOP Championship tournament.
